Medicine Drum-Making Workshop

Sunday, May 18, 2025, 1pm-5pm

Join Chris and Michelle Cunningham of TriSpirit Creations for an afternoon of ceremony. Together, we will gather in community and will each build and create our own medicine drums. Guided by intention, this workshop provides an opportunity for both individual and collective healing, inviting you to connect to the sacred rhythm of your heart and to the heartbeat of Mother Earth.

Location: central Edmonton. Details to be released closer to the event.

Drum-making options:

Elk or Deer hide—

14 inch $300

16 inch $325

18 inch $350

*Bison hide is an additional $25 in each size.

Natural or color options available.

To secure your spot, please e-transfer a $100 deposit to Zana and include a note of the size and hide you would like to make your drum (natural or colored, Deer, Elk or Bison options). The remaining amount will be due one week prior to the workshop.

Participants can bring a gem stone to use as their drum handle, or purchase a stone on the day of the event. Recommended stone size: thumb-size or a bit bigger than a toonie, must be flat-ish—no spherical or heart-shaped stones, please.

Workshop is 3-4 hours. Doors will be open 15 minutes prior to the event.
