Breathwork Journey
What is Breathwork?
Breathwork is a holistic healing modality that uses intentional, rhythmic breathing techniques. This technique allows us to cultivate awareness and access non-ordinary states of consciousness. In this expanded state we use the breath to explore and release what has been held in our subconscious. In doing so, we can clear our body-mind of stuck energy, emotions, and memories, and free up space inside ourselves. It is within this space that we Remember the true essence of who we Are, and reconnect with our full potential.
While there are various forms of breathwork, the modality I offer is Conscious Connected Breathwork. This type of breathwork focuses on deep, circular breathing and takes place in two phases—the Activation phase and the Restoration phase. Applying an integrative approach, I weave in somatic, sound, and energy work to support the body-mind as it unwinds, and to help regulate the nervous system in the process.
What can I expect?
We will open our session with a check-in to learn about what has been coming up for you and what you are looking to receive, release, and/or explore. Guided by your intention, I will invite you to settle into the space and begin connecting with your natural breath. Once you are relaxed, we will move into the Activation phase. As you deepen into the breath, I will be there to help guide and listen, and to offer support throughout the session.
A typical Breathwork session is 1-1.5 hours. While breathwork is generally considered to be safe, there are certain health conditions that are contraindicated. If you are new to breathwork, please book a free 15-minute consultation or reach out via email to ensure this practice is suitable for you.

*It is important to note that I am currently completing my breathwork certification and training through WelcomeOm Studio. As I work towards fulfilling my practicum hours, I am offering breathwork sessions at PWYC, by donation. 100% of all donations will be given to the CPAWS Northern Alberta Chapter to help support the protection and conservation of our parks and wilderness areas. CPAWS further supports Indigenous-led conservation initiatives, species-at-risk recovery, effective land-use planning, policy that prioritizes healthy ecosystems and nature-based climate solutions. If you’d like to donate directly, click the link here and forward me a screenshot or email confirmation. Otherwise, please reach out to me via email to arrange an etransfer or alternative method of payment. Donations must be made prior, or on the day-of the appointment.
